The Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) convened an expert panel to issue a joint guideline comprised of evidence-based recommendations to practicing physicians and other health-care providers on integrative medicine for pain management in oncology. The recommendations were published by Mao et al in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
