Food insecurity is an adverse social determinant of health prevalent among pediatric patients with cancer which is associated with poorer health outcomes in general pediatrics. A recent study aimed to prospectively collect parent-reported social determinants of health, including income, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) receipt, and food insecurity among pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
