In updated guidelines from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) published by Ajani et al in JNCCN–Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, recommendations are provided on the management of recurrent or metastatic esophageal and esophagogastric junction cancers.
