Patients with breast cancer frequently experience weight gain, a potential risk factor for heart failure. A nationwide cohort study from the Republic of Korea, published in JAMA Oncology, examined the association between weight changes and heart failure risk after breast cancer development. In this study, obesity was defined as body mass index (BMI) ≥ 25, per Asian-Pacific criteria.
